I'm Good, Really

Oh dear, I must have overdone the drama in my last post; even my daughter phoned to ask if I was okay. The answer is "of course, just the usual". I've been working on more cold wax pieces, my artist statement and visiting with friends here in town which has made me very happy. The piece above is 20x20", the largest I've done so far. Cold wax and oil paint. Make it big so you can see the detail.

More soon xo.

Well that's a relief!
Thanks for sharing the size of this piece -I think I always assumed your work was always this big at least x

That's a lovely artwork, Judy, full of light and translucency. I'm looking forward to the plasterboard workshop...

I think you are better than good. You are living this life in a juicy, up and down, zesty way. The light needs the shadow, doesn't it, in order to shine brightest ?

Love this waxy play on a grand scale.
Keep on keeping on, Wonderful One.

this is fabulous! so happy to read your feeling better. it's best to go with the rolls of the waves(our emotions) then fighting against it(we have to feel all those emotions)

love, hugs and smiles~ jill
