The Overview

By climbing this ladder in our garage I was able to get most of the panel in my viewfinder without too much distortion.

I still cut off the bottom fourth but at least it's right side up. I added varnish, stars and mica and now it's officially done. Big happy.

I'll link to the wedding pictures in a few weeks and then you'll be able to see the whole panel.

Judy, this is absolutely beautiful. Loved seeing the step by step progress as it went from blank canvas to amazing Paris.

Judy, so HUGE! You are amazing dear friend. Such a great backdrop for photos. You can do ANYTHING. Would you whip one of those up and send it to me in Vietnam for our photo ops on Oct. 4th? :) Love ya!

It's great Judy. Perfect. I have painted many very large set backdrops for stage productions. It is so fun to paint on that scale.

WOW!
That is amazing!

I love how much you incorporated into the background without it being overwhelming. And I can't believe how big it is! That is a LOT of work!

Thanks for showing us the step by step. I just loved it.

And thank you for all the amazing things you taught me at Art Unraveled! I might need to follow you around the country and take every class you offer!

What a gorgeous piece of work! It makes me think of the old musicals with Fred Astaire and Leslie Caron.
But yours have a joie de vivre that says Judy all over the place!

How wonderful!

I'm dying to paint that big, but I never get around to it. You're motivating me to get on that!

What a great idea to have you do the background rather than a generic one.

Glad there's no pics of you immobilized from all that bending in the prior set of pics.

Neighborhoods publisher's proposal. I thought it was pretty tight and have spent most of the last two days hammering on the Table of Contents, which will follow. I just checked the comments on the overview a few minutes ago and my socks have been blown away.
