I did it. Averaged one 12x12" painting a day from my last post until today.
Something inside me has clicked.
I have permission.
I dont have to like every one.

ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
ReplyDeleteThese past two entries resonate with me. I am stuck in a place where I avoid working but I am constantly aware of all of the reasons I should be putting pencil to paper. Permission, inner critic…. I am impatiently waiting for the Richter book to arrive at my library. Thank you for the reading suggestion and sharing your remedy. I admire your work.
Fabulous! I especially like that last one.
ReplyDeleteI've been painting in gouache in a sketchbook every morning for exactly 34 days now. It doesn't compare to this, but it really is a wonderful experience to start every day with a small painting. Hope you keep it up.
Wonderful. All of it! And the process and the growth- all wonderful!
ReplyDeletelove what this permission has brought you to. Dreamy...
ReplyDeleteBig love to you !
Like one's children, I do have favorites, but I shouldn't admit it. Four and six. swoon time.
