I did it. Averaged one 12x12" painting a day from my last post until today.
Something inside me has clicked.
I have permission.
I dont have to like every one.
YOU dont have to like every one.
I'm just going to keep going.
Searching.
I've never felt more excited.

These are wonderful Judy. I really love the last one. It appeals to my orderly side I guess.

I can't decide which is fave, but I do know I would be pleased to have any on a wall in my house!
Yes! Just get in there and do it! I think they're great.
I get what you're saying. I finally really get it.
Very cool! stupid question... where do you get the 12x12 paper? I really like the proportions of that....
Gorgeous paintings...I love the idea of daily painting, but only seem to get to it once a week if I'm lucky

like lisa I like the last one best. the colors are my kind!
Hi Judy,
These past two entries resonate with me. I am stuck in a place where I avoid working but I am constantly aware of all of the reasons I should be putting pencil to paper. Permission, inner critic…. I am impatiently waiting for the Richter book to arrive at my library. Thank you for the reading suggestion and sharing your remedy. I admire your work.
Fabulous! I especially like that last one.
I've been painting in gouache in a sketchbook every morning for exactly 34 days now. It doesn't compare to this, but it really is a wonderful experience to start every day with a small painting. Hope you keep it up.
Wonderful. All of it! And the process and the growth- all wonderful!
love what this permission has brought you to. Dreamy...
Big love to you !
Like one's children, I do have favorites, but I shouldn't admit it. Four and six. swoon time.
