Happy New Year and Blue Moon

This is my latest food discovery. Bob's Red Mill Eight Grain Cereal with added walnuts and Martha Stewart's recipe for Cranberry Sauce plus a nice amount of half and half. It's perfect for breakfast on New Year's Eve; all festive and tummy-cozy.

My latest journal pages. Yeah, I kinda went crazy with these images what with my last post and new banner but I'm taking PhotoShop out for a walk so that's what happened.

John brought me a bouquet of Rubrum Lilies for Christmas that I almost forgot to share. Heady fragrance, goes nicely with pine and kisses under the mistletoe. I started out with 12 items on my list this morning and have already crossed off half of them - YAY! Plus meandered all over the net laughing and crying with all youse peoples on your blogs. Prayed for a few people with big challenges and laughed with others.

Enjoy the Blue Moon tonight and remembering the ups and downs of 2009. Thank you for every hug and kind word; it's the love that goes around that makes life incredible. I'll toast you and me and everybody on the planet at midnight; gratitude for the light we all share.

  8. Happy New Year and Happy New Decade Judy!
I love how your blog is looking. Having made the switch to mac myself this past (yikes 2009 is now past) year, I was wondering if you would share how you are doing your blogging? I'm still using LIve Writer and going through VMWare Fusion to do it. A hassle, but Live Writer has always been the best to use it seems. But your blog looks good, so I wondered what you used now that you're on a mac and using blogger.

  9. Laura, the changes I've made to my blog were quite simple. I changed from the Mr. Moto layout to one called Minima Extended and designed a larger banner. Since my new screen is 27" I can stretch the page horizonally but not everyone can so I kept the banner at approximately the same width. I need to tackle my website next; a huge job since I haven't updated it since forever. I post directly to blogger with no intermediaries. I hope this answers your question.

  11. Bob's Red Mill 10 grain for me this morning! With filberts. Great minds think somewhat alike. And I had 1% because the half-n-half was gone. Like the look of your blog. You are having fun with PhotoShop, looks
like. (You were one of the top sellers at Valley Art this year, I believe. Hope you get to update your stock there.) The best to you in 2010. Now where's that paintbrush?!
