p.s. Allegra has posted about a fellow artist who could use a little help and about an opportunity to participate in a give-away on her site. Read about it here.
Oh, you're a brave woman! I ventured to the tulip fields yesterday and fought itchy, watery eyes and sinus headache the whole way. And there's a layer of pollen on my deck and driveway.
But there you are, the Diva of Dandelions! How did you manage to get this shot?
Dandelions, what a nice word, similar to the German Löwenzahn, which means the same: the tooth of a lion. :) Now they are nearly everywhere and that's fine, because the daffodils are gone...
When John was a little boy he used to bring me bouquets of "dandy lions" and I always thought of big felines dressed like Beau Brummel with a top hat. He never knew that his love for his mother resulted almost inevitably in a visit to our doctor as it always announced the arrival of allergy season. Stay away from lions, dandy or not. Hugs from both us.
a beautiful woman napping on the spring green grass, surrounded by dandelions, could there be anything sweeter after such a long and dreary PNW winter?!
