Oh Judy thats an easy one to answer! The black one has to be the glad wife as she has already committed the evil deed with the potion in her hand- she seems so content now - just look at her wry smile!!! lol Looks to me like the blonde is still contemplating!
Love them both Judy, I think the one in black is both. At the moment she's mad and has the poison bottle in her hand, but soon she'll be glad when it takes effect on whoever is the recipiant. Ro xo
Hmm...glad wife is very glad-she saved a loved one from drinking poison. Mad wife is mad/crazy-she's having delusions that she can fly above the city, singing silly tunes!
Lu, I can't find an e-mail address so I'll answer here. There are prints for sale at my website and if you want something you see you can email me privately. Thanks for asking.
In the top painting, Judy, I like the Russian-looking buildngs & the eye catching black & white trim there, & I like th interesting colours in the background, which looks like it has an underpainting or two?
Your encaustic painting looks fabulous! Is your class through R and F? I've been taught to use a house painters heat gun to fuse the wax. I'm jealous of the torch "thing"!
Judy Wise is an Oregon painter, writer and teacher whose work has been published over several decades in books and periodicals, on greeting cards, textiles, educational materials, calendars and in the gift industry. She is prolific and inventive, keeping daily journals of her writing and art since childhood and finding fascination in many divergent art related areas. She knows that art saves lives, that people who make art are more interesting than people who don’t, and that everyone can be creative if they are adventurous. She is a passionate lover of all things artful and of helping others find joy in the process of self expression.

Not sure which is which, but I plead guilty to being both at one time or another - sometimes simultaneously.
LOVE the new banner - anything that lets me see more of your luscious artwork!

Hey - you're on the cover of my Art and Life Mag.! It's gorgeous! So nice to see your work up close! Congrats!
I'm with Ro on this one.

Music and flying? What could be better than that? She's you, dear Judy, with a song in your soaring heart. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! ;-)
